Animal Collective at Prospect Park's Bandshell last night was the best birthday present a gal could ask for. My personal fave part of the show was "Slippi," off of Here Comes the Indian. (Listen to the live track recorded from their January 09 show at Bowery below.) Other highlights include "Chores," of course a big dance-and-sing-along to "Summertime Clothes," and the super sweet sick sightly seascape set designed by Abby Portner. Sharrrrkkkkk!
