Once upon a time way back when, we posted a song called "Bone Yard" by Stingray Migration, a Bennington student musical group whose members included Will Stratton (after his show with El Perro Del Mar and Taken By Trees, we dug his song "Bluebells") and Nate "Skippy" Luce - whose duet show with Alex Bleeker of the Freaks we posted videos of here. Cutie and a sweet, sweet soul, Luce has now formed his new project Flower Orgy. Their new take on the once-Stingray-Migration track is slow and shitfaced-hazy. It opens with guitar distortion so familiar you could swear you grew up with these guys, listening to Neutral Milk Hotel and getting stoned in your backyard together. This show went off without a hitch. We the ladies of MICRO-PIXEL-RITES are glowing as if in basking in the moment after childbirth. Although we've been ripped, zipped, and stitched back together, we are forever grateful for the miracle we have been allowed to bestow upon this earth. Photos below.
